Inductive Throttle Sensor ( ITS ) or Micro Switch Problem

I have 2005 Ezgo PDS that will not move. I have power to the Alltrax controller in both forward and reverse. The solenoid clicks when you switch to forward or reverse but not when the accelerator is depressed. When you push on the gas pedal I get nothing. Is there any way to verify that the micro switch or the Inductive Throttle Sensor ( ITS ) is the problem before I spend the money to replace them. Is there anything else I should be checking?

The microswitch and ITS sensor are located beneath the floorboard. You will have to remove the driver's side rocker panel and lift up the floor mat. Behind the accelerator pedal you will see a cut out in the floorboard. Lift that cutout and remove the screws that hold the lid on the pedal box. Use a multimeter set to continuity and check the microswitch. Normally when ITS sensors go bad you will not be able to control the cart speed, it will run full speed all the time. If there is water in the pedal box dry it out. :hattip:

Thanks.. ITS was bad. Replaced it and the microswitch since it was cheap and it runs great. Thanks for the post.
