I need some help with installing lights

Hey guys, I'm new to this site and was wondering if any of you could help me out. My Dad recently ordered some lights to put on our EZ-GO. We aren't going through the process of cutting out slots to put the lights in. We were going to mount them under the body sort of. Anyway. There are 2 wires on the back of these lights. A black and a white. The pack also came with a longer red wire and a longer black wire. Of course it also came with a new key switch with four connections on the back, which I'm assuming 2 go to the golf cart itself and the other two for the lights, but we have no idea where to even begin with the wiring. This explanation might be a bit hard to understand. If I knew how to post pictures I would, but any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

This should help you out...The two white wires are (+) and the blacks wires are (-).

You should tie the two whites together and splice into the long red wire which will go to the switch.

The two black wires go to the battery (-) post. Be sure to study the diagrams for the lights work on 12 volts and the connections shown will give you 12 volts as shown.

EDIT: It really doesn't matter if you have a 48v cart or a 36v cart, just make sure the lights are across (connected via the switch) to only two batteries (equal to 12v) as shown......
