How to Wire a 36 Volt Continous Duty Solenoid

I just got my first Yamaha golf cart. I have some experience with EZGO and Club Car. It would take off in reverse when I made the last connection. I tapped the reverse solenoid and it didn't do it again until I put in reverse again. It has a key to change direction. I got my new 36 volt continuous solenoid in and getting ready to put it on and I pulled up a wiring diagram and took a picture of the way it was wired and they do not match. Can anyone show a diagram of how it is supposed to be wired? I took both off. So I need the wiring for both if possible.
Thank you

I looked under the seat and all over the frame under the back step or bumper and cannot find a number. Could it be somewhere else and or could anybody tell me from these pictures if I can get them on here

It looks like a Yamaha G1. The serial number should be on the cross member right in front of the rear bumper. There's a Yamaha G1 wiring diagram in the resource section of the forum.
