Hey everyone I'm new to the forum. Can anyone give me a little guidance on how to make my 2006 Club Car go faster. I currently have it going 25 mph. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the forum...

Clutch machining would get you more top speed. Cart Parts Plus does them for about $50.00...

What have you done so far?

Thanks for the reply. We haven't done anything to the cart so far. It's my father in laws cart and of course having Corvettes all of his life he can't stand having the slow cart on the course.

I've been told it's a hard thing to achieve both low end torque and top speed. However, this is what we are trying to get. We do have mechanical background but this is a whole different animal so any help would be appreciated.

Were are the clutches located? :dazed:

Do you guys have any idea's I really would like to make his day. What do you think about a new electric motor? I know it's pricey, I'd just like to see the faces on his golf buddies when he leaves them in the dust. :D

I'll check it out. I don't know what the horsepower of this one is but I do know it currently runs 25 mph. So this cart might already have this. Thanks

Sorry about mentioning clutch machining  For some reason I thought it was a gas cart...

Like COPB said 25 mph is not a bad top speed. Your cat must have some upgrages...
