I have no idea. (first golf cart owned)

What is a PDF,series drive system ?

Can I take jumper cables from the batteries and touch the motor?

Ok you have a PDS drive system. Here's the info on test a PDS motor...

Flip the run tow switch in tow. Disconnect the main positive and negative from the battery pack. Jack the rear tires off the ground and put the cart on jack-stands, Unhook all the cables at the motor and jump S1 to A1 and S2 to A2 terminals on the motor. This is two separate connections. With a 12 volt battery charger set on 15-20 amps or a 12 volt battery take 12V positive and hook to the S1/A1 combination and 12V negative goes to the S2/A2 combination. The motor should spin.

Do you have a diagram or photo that shows where the S1, A1 ..S2, A2 terminals are?

Also, the key switch is just wired straight (I took the switch off) is that OK ?

Thank You for your help!

The motor will be stamped by each terminal. Make sure you mark the cables so you know where they were on the motor. There's a wiring diagram in the EZGO resource forum here. You should really have either a key switch or a toggle switch.
