How to add security gate bar code to golf cart

I recently bought my first golf cart to drive around the community. One of things I was hoping to use it for was to haul yard waste to the debris site. Unfortunately our HOA installed a gate with a barcode scanner to prevent non-residents from dumping. The barcodes are fairly large and there is no place to put one. Has anybody rigged up a plate or mount for the barcode sticker to go ? I just need to attach a flat panel to the sun top uprights but can't seem to find anything that will work.

We have security gates at our cottage and can also use a card to open them. I just clip in in the scorecard holder on the steering wheel.
