help with 84 club car electric

i have a 84 club car ds electric. took it apart to clean it up put it back together n it does nothing. everything is hooked up right . hooked charger to it n it charged. all batterys test over 6 volts . all 6 test over 36 volts. solenoids dont click or anything. the only thing i did to it was clean the foot pedal switch cuz it only had super slow speed or full bore. now it does nothing. i have multimeter need some tips on what and where to test. driving me nuts

That is a 5 solenoid cart. Are the micros clicking in the speed box? If they are it probaly is the master solenoid, first one on the drivers side.

so how do i test it? jump it? do i jump it rom one post to the other on that solenoid? or jump it from that solenoid to the next?

You can jump the large terminals on the first solenoid. Jack the back tires off the ground first to be safe...

that one has to come on before the others will correct?

replced all six microswitches and swapped the first solenoid with the last one still wont run. jump the small post n the big post on the first solenoid n hit the switches motor will run

It sounds like the activation circuit to the master solenoid has a problem or isn't wired correctly. If it worked before you took the cart apart I'd say it's a wiring problem. Does you get any clicks with the key on when you press the go pedal? Are you sure the solenoid you swapped is good?

If your sure the solenoids and micro switches are good I would triple check your wiring.

ok i have power coming from each microswitch but does nothing. if i jump large post with small post n hit the switch motor comes on. or if i jump large post on first solenoid with large post on any other of the solenoids motor runs. just bought new solenoid gonna change first one tonight n see what happens

got it working finally . had one wire wrong. did not know that the microswitches ground the solenoids not power them
