Help! What do I do with this wire??

I was inspecting my battery tray on my 06’ Club Car Precedent, making sure I did everything I needed to, I went to put the seat back on and it snagged on this wire. I put the cart in tow mode just to be safe. I’m not too sure what I should do to fix it, or even what it does to. Any advice helps! Thanks!

Based on the snippet of the wiring diagram it's the lights. Try to turn them on and if they don't work that may be your answer.
Thank you. It is indeed my lights & battery gauge. Do you think I need to get a new end piece that connects to the battery (idk the technical term,) or is there a way I can reuse it? Sorry, I’m not well versed in electrical stuff.

The wire tore loose from its ring terminal on the battery. Replace it. Make sure to get one with the same diameter as the battery post. Probably 5/16", but possibly 3/8"
Ok, thank you. I’ll bring the old one with when I go to Lowe’s, just to make sure I get the correct size.
