Help Toyota knocking

I was fortunate enough to get a steal on my favorite truck today, a '91 Toyota pickup 4wd. It's in really good shape but will need a new engine. I have another Toyota pickup 2wd that has a great running engine but I bought it for converting to electric. Both of these trucks are 4cyl with a 5spd transmission and they are both a 91 model. Is it likely that the engines are compatible? I'm desperate to get this pretty truck running and retire the old chevy. Thanks!!

They are the same size and they look identical. Thanks for the help. Good now I have something to do this weekend.

Oh, my 4wd Toyota with the bad engine has a tach and power steering unlike the 2wd with the donor engine. Do you think the blocks are still the same and should work? The engines are both EFI too.

Everything should bolt right on the donor engine from the bad engine. You may have to use some brackets from the bad engine for the PS pump.
