Have a older 36 v ezgo according to the SN its a 1971 with the solid state controler

I need a MOV and a controller . trying to get it back running because of the bad knees and its my transportation on our property. any assistance would be great if you have any older parts
 
They didn't have solid state controllers in 1971 from what can tell. Everything I see shows resistor carts only. Are you sure about the year? Info I can find says solid state controllers were first used by EZGO in 1991. Below is an illustration of a 1971 EZGO electric cart resistor system
