Harley Golf Cart Gas to Oil Ratio Mix

What the gas to oil mix ratio? How much oil would you mix with the gas for a 2.5 gallon gas can for a 74 Harley golf cart. Also what type of oil is everyone using now?

not all oil MFG's mix the same, i use yamalube but all brand names are pretty good. mix to the ratio on the bottle, i use 40:1 on the harleys
