I bought the cart at the end of summer last year and drove it 2 times with the bad batteries.then put it up for the winter. When i push the pedal it feel like the cart want to move it shook a little but nothing else happened . i was told i need a new controller but i have no clue.
thanks for any help

Welcome to the forum.

Make sure you have the batteries wired correctly. What is you total battery pack voltage?

I guess i left some info out sorry. It's a 36 volt golf cart with a lift kit and big tires. I'm pretty sure I have all batteries in correctly. When I put it in reverse the back up alarm comes on. I'm also pretty sure I heard some kinda noise come from under the cover the run/tow cover. It was a little windy that day and I still had a tarp over the cart but i have not heard the noise from there again.

Have the new batteries been charged yet? What you describe sounds like a bad connection or low voltage. What kind of noise did you here under the controller cover? We need to know your total battery pack voltage.

The battery pack is at 37.6 volts. The noise was the solenoid, when I pushed the pedal it clicked and when i let off the pedal 2 secs later it would click again.

It does sound like a controller problem then. There should be a EZGO DCS troubleshooting chart in the EZGO resource section of the forum. I'd run through the test and you'll know for sure if it's the controller.
