Golf Cart Brakes

Hi,
I have a 92 Club Car DS golf cart that needs new brakes. The current brake shoes are worn thin and it does not stop when coming down a hill. I was wondering if anyone could tell me if it is simple to put in new brake pads, or is it difficult and should I have the repair shop do it?

It's a simple job for me but it all depends on your own mechanical skills.
If you have done rear drum brakes on a car, it would be no problem for you; if your mechanical skills are really limited, have a shop do it.
