Golf Cart Battery Maintenance

Is there any information here at Cartaholics Golf Cart Forum about Golf Cart Battery Maintenance?
What is the best way to maintain batteries during off season down time? My golf cart is a 2001 EZGO TXT and is garage kept during winter months.

If you have access to the golf cart just make sure water level is ok and cable ends are good, clean and tight. If you can, charge the batteries once a month.

If your using it enough it won't hurt to charge the batteries after every use but more important is if your Club Car has a On Board Computer (OBC) when you charge the golf cart on leave it charging until the battery charger shuts off by itself. No charging 4 or 5 hours and unplugging. It's very important to leave it go through the complete charging process.
