G16 no go

put on a new rev/for switch and soleniod
replaced several bad wires
car does not engage soleniod
tried to by pass stop switch and nothing
any ideas

I have jumped the big post on soleniod and car will run

can the car run with a bad controller when jumping the big post on soleniod?
does power to the soleniod come from controller direction or battery side?

If the controller is bad the cart won't run even if you bypass the controller. If the solenoid isn't activating then you need to check the small wiring to the solenoid.
