G1 Carb Setup?

Hey guys, got that 1981 G1 running, put the carb setup back to the way my buddy had it and I don't think it's correct. There is a fuel barb coming out of the bottom of the carb, the fuel bowl, and the line is like 3 inches long and didn't connect to anything. Also, there are two barbs on the top of the carb on both driver and passenger side and spew out fuel when revving. I'm assuming that these three barbs all need to connect for WOT richening or something. I have attached a few pics, if someone can confirm that these three need to tie together or if someone can post a pic of their setup I would appreciate it. All I need to do is tune the carb and my job is done.

So I found out that the carb installed on this cart is a MIKUNI VM Series 30-83, which in my research isn't the correct carb for this 1981 G1. Anyway, having some fueling issues. I need to know if the barb coming out of the fuel bowl has to tie into the main fuel line going to the carb. I found out that the other two fuel barbs sticking out of the sides of the carb must just be overflows or something, cause they just dump out the side. But I need to know where to connect the line coming from the fuel bowl.

Yah it's at the bottom of the bowl. I just took the carb apart and took the valve out and there is some corrosion, so i'm just gonna order a rebuild kit and it should fix the problem. That fuel bowl barb comeing out is an overflow, so that means the floats are rising and hitting the lever for the valve to shut and it's not shutting.

TTT, Hey guys, I ended up pulling the carb off and the valve and seat were shot, and looked to buy the parts for it and I couldn't find any. Come to find out that carb that's in the picture isn't even the correct carb for this G1 setup. So I bought a brand new carb for a G1 2 stroke and it looks a little different. It looks as though it needs an accelerator cable and a choke cable. Can anyone post some pics of their setup so I can get a reference? It's weird, i've never seen a carb with two butterfly's, the choke actually has it's own butterfly, interesting. Also, I need to get a new carb JOINT, where the carb mates up to the reed plate. The existing carb was WAY too big and some had ordered that joint for the bigger carb.

I don't have any pics available, but the choke cable goes to the back butterfly valve. This cable is a direct link to the push/pull choke knob on next to the key. The other valve attaches to the throttle cable coming from the pedal. Where did you purchase the carb from? I may need a rebuild kit or a new carb because my float shutoff isn't working properly.
