G1 belts flew off and I flipped the cart!

So I'm going down a steep hill one day and the belts flew off my cart and got wrapped up in the rear sheave.....causing the back wheels to lock up....causing the cart to spin sideways and start flipping. I made it through the night, but had to go to ER the next day for a injured hip and pride.

Anyone have this happen before? I'm thinking of building a cage around the belts so it doesn't happen again.

i had that happen on a ez go about ten yrs ago. we had a belt that was a little to big on it and the driven clutch rpm's over road the engines going down a hill and the belt walked off the drive clutch

then some how twisted back on its self and locked on to the housing. didn't flip it but still sucked.
