Fresh Build Engine Break-In

Hi All, as many know I have been building my 80 G1 and put the plowman's top end and muffler on it, i even did a little polishing on the ports just to smooth them out a bit. Now that it is in and running, I was wondering what a engine break-in process should be. What have others done, or what should be the protocol. When i talked with Don he said to use the cheapest non synthetic 2 stroke oil I could find, and make sure I vary the RPM range, but just wanted to get other's ideas on their process.

thank you.

That's it, ya just don't want to run it wide open for more than 30/40 seconds at a time for the first full tank:hattip:

Sounds good, didn't know if it was like breaking in a flat tappet cam in a Small Block Chevy where you have to keep it at 2k for 10 minutes.
