hi' ocf her again when i was working on my cart had a gent call me about his cart. it is an 83 ezgo. said when he went to use it would not move, celonoid made noise and when he put his hand on it felt like it was fluttering his words not mine.I gave him the usual advice check all connections clean tighten check cables batteries etc.he called back said he checked it all changed celonoid same results. i was busy with my own headache. told him to do a low volt test to see if brushes might be sticking in motor, the cart is at his campground and i dont have time to check it out myself. any other ideas i might have missed micros switches are working ok.so until i can get hands on with what else should he look at? THANKS AGAIN OCF

hi' I think the problem was 2 bad batteries. i told him to unhook the cables and charge the batteries one at a time his son came over borrowed my battery tester after charging and letting them sit about 6 hrs they checked them 2 were bad the other 4 were on the fair side he hooked his 2 trolling and camper battery cart did run. now i'm wondering why the charger said the batteries were charged when they were not? it is an atuomatic charger lestronic he says.also he was wondering if he could use a 36 volt towmotor charger at his sons workplace to charge his cart it is a 135 amp charger. i told him i did not think it would be wise to try to charge a cart with that high an amp charger but i think he'll try it any way. to see if he can do it. i'll let you know if he do'es it and if it works. thanks for the help! o.c.f.
