Flooding and Gas In Air Filter Box

I have a 2002 gas EZGO I am having flooding problems and gas in the air filter box. A friend of mine said a valve could be stuck open I read a post on here about adjusting the valves will doing that solve my problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated Thanks.

The valves may just need to be adjusted. Start there and let us know what you find.

Well I adjusted them using the guide from this site and the cart runs better then it ever has. Thanks a ton for having something like this and for the help. I have one more question about the setting. I set it to .004 like the guide said but I was wondering what is the difference between the .004 and .006 ? I mean does it run better at the .006 ? Thanks again for the help.

.006 is supposed to work a little better for long runs. As far as performace goes I don't think you'll notice any difference.
