EZGO Workhorse Briggs and Stratton 18 HP Engine Conversion

Did you happen to start up and rev the engine with the clutch on and no belt? If you did, you could of damaged the clutch. Just a thought.

BTW, nice job on the install.

Thanks Wass. Nope I never started the engine with out a belt on this clutch.
Oh man Frank you dont know how happy I am to see you here. Ok heres the problem I am having. I got everything installed and ready to roll but for some reason the clutches wont engage.
I havent had a chance to call comet yet since Ive been so preoccupied with my other cart but I'm going to try and contact them today.

Take your clutch off, get the directions that came with it, use that large screw that came with it (about 1" long) and take the clutch apart. Screw it in 4 or 5 theads hold it in your hand and hit the head of the bolt with a hammer. That should seperate the clutch. Then make sure the pucks are in place and that you can manually push the clutch to the closed position. Something is messed up in there and I bet you can figure it out.
