EZGO Wont Start Having Firing Problems

the HEI's work but don't always last very long, they get very hot when ya run the stock coil. i had better luck with the one from Jegs but its more money, about 40.00 i think.

HEI ignition module [jegs]
part#555-40600

so how would i hook it up i know the 2 wires go to my pick up coil aka pulsater wires, and one to coil and ignition but how would i wire it to my voltage regulator or do i need 2 ??? would u have a diagram or just wire it like the 2 stroke ?? i also bought the premium hei module from oriellys would that be comparable to the jegs module perhaps

use what ya got, wire it like the 2cycle. you may need to switch the two pulser wires if it doesn't run well, make sure when you mount it you give it some room to get air. ground the HEI to the frame or engine.

like i said, its not the best thing goin' but may get ya runnin' for a bit or more
good luck

Are you sure you have the ground wire all hooked up? I've done this myself, i didnt hook up the ground wire coming from the batt to the starter/gen then to frame, just a thought.

To all wondering the HEI module works if unsure what this is its an ignition module that goes on a v-8 chevy motor inside the distributor cost under 30 bucks also if needing a coil get that at parts store a gm or saturn 2 post coil is 30 bucks or less and they work perfect .
