Hello,
Yes, I'm a newbie, so please bear with me. I recently swapped out the rusted flooring in an EZGO golf cart that belongs to a relative. I replaced the flooring with a heavy gauge wire frame rack, which fits and works great - solid all around.
In doing so, I believe I damaged one of the two wire coming out of the round tab in the picture. The cart will not move unless I manually hold the broken wire together.
Can someone enlighten me as to what this piece is, what it does, and what are my options for fixing/replacing/bypassing? The cart is old as dirt and used on a farm. I'm not an electrical genius and I don't want to risk crossing any wires in bad way.
I could not find any good pics or articles discussing this piece.
Thanks in advance, Bob
