EZGO Resource Location

I'm a newbie to this site. This appears to be a very resourceful local for us cart enthusiasts! I am waiting for a new Alltrax controller to arrive for my 94.5 TXT and I'm anticipating "issues" when I attempt to install it. I found post threads on this site referencing a "Resource" location for service manuals. Could someone please point me in the right direction? I'm looking for the full wiring diagram. Thanks

your new alltrax should come with directions for you to be able to install it, the one thing is if your controller is on the pass. side under the black cover the cover may not fit right when your done....if i remember the alltrax is a little bigger..........................................

Buggies Unlimited responded with the same info that the controller comes with instructions but the wiring has been hacked on when it became a lake buggie. I have changed all of the cables and the solenoid when I upgraded to a 7 hp Admiral. Being an engineer I like prints and technical info. I was looking for a diagram so I can start labeling everything. I may have to buy the manual. Thanks, I'll post the outcome.

Welcome to the forum...

A 94.5 would be a EZGO Medalist model. The TXT is pretty much the same wiring. There's a wiring diagram and a link to download the PDF service manual in the resource forum.

Update....the new controller is installed and I've cruised the hood. With a little help from Greg at BU I learned to remove the A2 cable from the controller to FNR switch and discard it. So far all is working good. I'm hopeful that a quick tuneup to the controller with my laptop and Alltrax's free software will yield more speed. My ultimate goal is enough torque to pull a trailer in the local parade. Stay tuned..Thanks

Another update...I purchased the $38 serial to USB cable from Radio Shack. I went online with the controller via the free Alltrax software. The controller needs to be in the output mode for communication. I had to jack up the cart and put a brick on the go pedal to hold it down enough to ignite the controller but not enough to spin the wheels. I found that the output amperage and top speed were factory set to max. The high and low voltage cut outs were good. I was able to manipulate the acceleration curve and increase the ramp...not really worth the cost of the cable unless you are looking for a jack rabbit launch.
