EZGO Quits Pulling At Full Throttle

i was riding tonight and with a full load and noticed when I pushed the throttle pedal wide open the cart would not pull but if I let off and barely push on it it would move battery voltage is good and i have a 94 marathon 36 volt also noticed it worked in reverse full throttle not forward thanks for your help.

It sounds like the throttle potbox is bad or out of adjustment.

With key off and the cart in neutral remove the small black and white wires from the pot box to the controller. Measure the resistance between the black, and white wires with an ohm meter. It should be at 0 ohms and smoothly rise to about 5.0-5.5K ohms at full throttle.

I think you've found your problem.

If it's not going up to 5.0-5.5k it won't run at full speed. And if it falls back to 0 while pushing the pedal it will cause the cart to quit running...
