Just thought I would post a few pics to give the progress report on the EZGO so far. Still a long ways from being done but looking better.

He should be ordering lift/wheels/tires here soon. We're planning on our families taking the carts out on Halloween. The kids like trick-or-treating on golf carts.

Like James said. The next step is to get it up in the air some and add wheels and tires. Then I will get the rollcage built. Hoping to build nerf bars and a pushbar for the front also. Alot of plans. Not enough time to complete them all. Or at least not enough time to complete them as fast as I want them to be done.

I found a website on buggies where you can get it cheap. (If he is still in business). The post was from early 05...

It doesn't say wheather it is polished or not but it is .058 thick. The sheet that I was looking to get was $18.17 for a rectangle 11.5 high x 39.75 wide.

I don't have 1/16 thick. But, 1/8" X 11 1/2" X 39 3/4" polished aluminum diamond plate I can sell for $46.00 plus shipping, if you are interested.

I think 1/8 will be to thick for the spot I want to put it since the shift ver and all will have to come through it, along with the key switch and choke. I want to measure tonight though and get back with you on that thickness. I would like to build me a diamond plate front pannel that covers the shocks instead of that plastic one. I wil measure that piece tonight and let you know what size it is.
