EZGO Marathon Lights Not Working

OK, The lights are not working my EZGO Marathon. I found this wire loom that runs from the rear lights into the fuse block on the right rear fender. There is no working horn, headlights or rear lights. I have determined that this loom is independent of anything having todo with the drive system and must be for the auxiliary system? There are about 6 wires pop out of the main end of the loom and I can tell two went to the light switch at one time and another larger one was on POS terminal which I removed and the cart still drives fine.

Can someone confirm this hard loom is 100% for aux systems (lighting?) and has nothing todo with the drive system?

I'm prob going to trace it all out, remove it and start over with the way I understand the light up the system. Just need some reassurance I'm on the right path. I've found some schematics out there for the drive system and nothing in the loom seems to apply.

I've never had A Marathon with factory lights so I can't be sure but if 2 of the wires were hooked to the light switch I would say that loom is definitely for the lights.

Although it wasn't hooked up to the switch it appears that two of them were in fact the lights...it's just the other 4-5 wires hanging out of that loom that have me scratching my head! More to come.

Thanks for your comments. Looks like you are the one man army on most answers to this site.

There's other members here with more knowledge than me that do answer a lot of questions. Everyone is busy now with the nice weather but don't be surprised if someone else chimes in on your questions. :)

I'm useful on a few other forums (Volvo, Vw, Porsche) but new to carts. I'm sure by the time I'm done I'll be a Marathon jus expert so hopefully I can stay engaged in the future. I take lots of photos when I work and always keep them for future reference too!

Sounds good feel free to jump in any threads. I just converted the forum from IPB to Xenforo and I'm still getting use to things. That's another reason I've been answering questions so quick I've been sitting in front of this computer for 2 months getting things back in order. lol

I'm not familiar with the Xenforo...I'll have to research it. I like that you could register with a social media account. The only think odd I've seen in the images I put in my gallery...when they are clicked on for lightbox they are really no larger then the original and not the original size of what I uploaded. Am I missing something with that for end users to get more high def images imbedded in my posts?

I have images in the gallery set to no larger than 800x800 right now and intended for it to be used for posting pictures of carts only. You can also upload images directly from your post if you click the more options button. I've left most settings at default until I give everything a thorough testing.

OK, just for a follow up for anyone who stumbles on this thread. My factoring lighting is a 3 wire system and the 2nd filament is for brake lights. I found a switch on the bottom of the brake with some wires hanging off of this. Obviously they would be setup to trigger the 2nd filament and prob rigged for turn signals with careful consideration of the wiring.
