EZGO Marathon Hard Starting and Runs Rough

Picked up 1990 EZGO Marathon that had not ran in years. I was told it needed a carburetor. I replaced carburetor, fuel pump all lines and new gas. It's hard starting, runs rough and won't start most of the time. I need to know the measurement for bowl float to see if it is correct and any other info would be greatly appreciated.

I don't remember ever seeing a spec # in the manual, 99% of the time as long as the float is parallel to the carb body held upside down its good. i would disconnect the oil injection if it has one, plug the fitting on the intake and mix the oil in the gas until you get the bugs worked out.

Have you checked the compression?

Low compression and or bad crankshaft seals are very common in 2 cycle golf cart engines.
