How To Adjust the Governor On a EZGO Gas Golf Cart

You may have a cover that needs to be removed to access the governor adjustment. EZGO started using this cover a few years ago but once the cover is removed the adjustment is the same as the older models. Tighten the nut to compress the spring on the governor. The more you tighten the nut the faster the top speed will be.

Is the governor adjustment on a 2016 L6 at the rear of the cart ?
Is the collapsing of the spring similar to the adjustments on a Yamaha G22 gas cart?
I have very little experience working on EZ GO carts but lots on Yamaha gas and electric models

I'm not real sure about a 2016 L6 but the governor adjustment should be on top of the rear end.
