my 2001 ezgo cart has a 4 stroke robin engine and recently it has been getting hard to start and now it wont start at all . I checked and its getting good spark. its getting plenty of fuel. the compression seems a little weak and its backfiring through the carburetor. Do you think it may be a bad timing belt and out of time. Any feedback would be great thanks.

Agreed! I don't think it could get out of timing! I see 3 out of 5 Ez's come into the shop and all they need is a little valve adjustment. If you have anymore questions you can call me tomorrow and I will help u through the diagnosis! 989-992-7601
