EZGO Drive Clutch Removal Homemade Puller

First, I love this site! U guys are sooooo helpful. . Is there a way to remove the drive clutch without a puller?

No, but you can use a 3/4 fine thread bolt 2 inches long and piece of 1/2 or 5/8 round bar 4" long.

Ok I think I get it. The round bar goes through the hole and the bolt threads is what pulls the clutch?

Yep, its best to use a impact because the shaft is tapered like a flywheel and needs some force to pop it loose.

Hi Guys, I have been watching this thread and tried pulling my clutch, the 3/4 fine thread bolt is too small to thread into the clutch. My EZGO is a 02 will this work on a 02?

OK. After reading it again I see that you are pulling the Drive clutch, I want to pull the driven clutch.
