EZGO Battery Charger

Need new charger for 2005 EZGO txt, was told the transformer was bad. Lots of chargers out there, what do I buy?

There's lots of good aftermarket chargers out there. I'd check with all of the forum sponsors and see which one will give you the best deal.

I saw one on Ebay the other day that looked like new for $299. The OEM stuff is high.

Had your batteries gone bad or did it just die for no known reason?

Is there anyway to test the transformer on the Powerwise Charger?

With an ohm meter or continuity tester.
The transformer is nothing more than a step down from one voltage to another.
If you have continuity in the primary windings and continuity in the secondary windings, that part is OK.
Next check for continuity (short) to ground, if you have that the transformer is bad.
