I just replaced the big spring in my secondary clutch. There are 3 holes to choose from when installing the compression spring. Which is the correct one? Is there a reason for having 3 different end-of-spring locations?
the three hole set the tension for the shift back and you can also set the preload by turning the sheeve 1/3 ,2/3, or 1 full turn before pressing it back together again.
for starters try hole 3 and preload 2/3 turn and try that.
