EZ go Wont go

I have a 1994 Ez Go TXT electric golf cart, we have replaced all batteries but one. I think that battery may have to be replaced as well, I put the charger on and it buzzes but it is not moving on the meter saying what volts it is reading. The solenoid is not clicking. When changed over to reverse it makes the buzzing sound, but when you press gas pedal it stops. It will not go forward or backwards. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I am going to test solenoid and I will post what the reading is soon. Feel free to text me at 2053939151 if you have any suggestions.

Thanks

Welcome to the forum.

What your total battery pack voltage? It sounds like a bad battery or bad/dirty cable connection.

5 new batteries and all new cables. Battery voltage is 33. Tested switch 33v, fnr 33v, speed control 33v, but when tested coming from solenoid it read 0.6. and it said 1998 on it. Could this be the problem? I found one online for 28.00. is that reasonable?

33 volts isn't enough to move the cart. You need to test the voltage on each battery individually to figure out why the voltage is so low.

Ok I have the voltage back up to 36 now all batteries are fully charged. Im getting a low reading coming off the solenoid. everything else is all the same.

check your solenoid and solenoid diode.....if solenoid isn,t clicking theres a problem you can jack the rear up and jump the larhe post on solenoid than turn key on put in gear and press pedal if wheels spin likely you have a bad solenoid....( not uncommon at all ) also you should load test batteries cause at 36 volts thats like 50% discharged......a good fully charged pack should be somewhere near 37 1/5 volts or so.........................................
