EZ GO limo question

I found a six passenger (older model) EZ GO limo cart for sale. Unfortunately the owner does not know the year and I cannot find the plate in any of the usual places. Cart seems to be older (maybe older than 1988) and has a different looking suspension than any other EZ GO I have seen.

Any ideas on what year it could be (when did EZ GO start making limo carts)?

Hi! I have an older EZ Go 6 seater limo also. Mine was made by Gates and the best I can determine, it is a 1985 or 6 model. It has a controller and is 36 volts. I am trying to upgrade to 48 volts for more speed and torque. Still got yours?? Doug Powell
