EZ GO DCS does not work when hot out

I have a 1998 EZ-GO DCS cart, whenever it is hot outside it will not go. I can hear the solenoid clicking, but it will not go in forward or reverse. I have brought it into the cart shop a couple of times, but it will never do it while they have it. Do you think it is the controller? Any help or advice is greatly appreciated.

Sounds controller related.
Do you have any mods done to the cart like large tires, lift kit, rear seat?
Is the electrical system stock?

I fried a controller when hooking up my lights a few years back, I put a remanned one in, it had problems, I had another one put in, and it is still having issues. I guess I will suck it up and put a new controller in it. Thanks for the advice..

If you get a new one I would recomend an Alltrax.
