I need new batteries and a guy is selling Exide GC-110 batteries with 2006 dates for $50 a piece. Are they good batteries and is that a good price? What is the best moderately priced battery for the money?

Welcome to the forum...

Exide makes good golf cart batteries but that price is high in my opinion. If you have a Sam's Club in your area you can buy Interstates or Energizers for around 65 dollars a piece. The Interstates are good batteries. I don't know much about the Energizers but a lot of people have been using them and I haven't heard anything bad yet.

Thanks for the info. Is it worth the extra money ($495 for six) to buy Trojan T-605s? We use the cart around the neighborhood. The kids love to ride around in it.

I would say it's worth the extra money. The used batteries are already 3 years old so figure if they were maintained well they're already half or more into there life span...

I would jump at the opportunity to buy the Trojans for $495!! The cheapest I could find them where I live is $595 with core exchange.

The NAPA 6-volt batteries are $105 each here in south LA.

I wouldn't think twice about it....Trojans for sure!!
