exchanging bodies

Hi all, I have a 1987 CC gas carryall II. can I take it down to the frame and place a standard body on it? Does anyone know if it will fit, or if anyone has done this and has some advice on the procedure?

Hi and welcome to the forum...
If I'm not mistaken the CarryAll II is a few inches longer than a DS. Maybe someone else will chime in with some more info.

The Carryall II also has aluminum sides under and behind the seat. A standard DS body will definately not work. Yes, it is too long and even the seat will not fit the plastic body.

Well, thank you for the info. Sounds like I need to go to plan B....
anyone want to trade a gas carryall II for a regular gas car??? LOL
