Electric to gas

New Member
I recieved a free '81 CC from my employer. It's had a rough life beating around a golf course for 20 years or so before being sold off. I got it because my boss got tired of buying batteries everytime they were stolen. I also got a 6.5 horse gas engine from a friend for free. The only thing I need to do is find out how to convert my electric rear end to work with the gas motor. The directional rotation isnt a problem, I just need to weld a pulley or sprocket to the shaft on the electric motor. I have seen others do it on other cart projects, but they dont go into detail on how they did it and the pics dont show much detail either. I cant afford a gas rear end at the moment and have to work with what i have. Any info anyone can give would be greatly appreciated.
