Electric EZ No Go

I have a early 90's electric EZ GO golf cart. I think it's a 1993. It's fully charged and runs fine on flat surfaces but when going up a hill, it completely looses power and won't go up the hill. I have no idea what could be wrong and thought I'd post on here to see if anyone has experienced this same problem and knows what needs fixing/replacing.

Thanks for any suggestions.

It sounds like a battery problem. Any idea how old the batteries are? Check to make sure the plates aren't exposed and if they are fill them with distilled water until the plates are just covered and charge it until the charger shuts off. Hook a digital volt meter to the main positive and negative battery pack posts and see what the voltage drops to when driving up hill. Post your voltage results...
