E-Z-GO TXT Gas Golf Cart Head

I have a E-Z-GO TXT gas golf cart that needs a head. I am wondering if i can take a head off of a 91 295cc Robins engine and put it on. I also know that the EZGO TXT exhaust manifold is molded with the haed and the 91 is two pieces. Will the 91 Robins engine work? The EZGO TXT has a 295 Robins engine as well.

What year is your cart??? If they are both before 2003 then it should work.

I didn't think the Robins 295 engine came about 'til '93?

the 295 4 cycle started in mid 91, the one piece head 03 and up is MCI only.
the older style 295 head has a slightly different bolt pattern

thanks i will try to find a new head then i am not sure of the year though because i can not fin the serial number anywhere on the cart. i found numbers on the engine can they tell me what year?????

as long as you buy the one piece head, 03 and up your good to go.
