My mother in law has a 98 E-Z-GO DCS golf cart that she hook up to charge and now will not to anything and just quit running. I checked the voltage from batteries and have 36 volts, checked voltage going into solenoid and have 36 volts, checked voltage coming out of solenoid and have 35 volts, then checked voltage going into controller 35 volts, then i checked voltage from lead on controller going to motor no voltage was found, I also had accelerator pedal pressed while checking readings. Has controller gone bad, any ideas would be appreciated.

hey guys I followed the 7 test and found a problem with voltage going through the key switch, I bypassed the wiring going to the key switch with a jumper straight to the solenoid and cart started working. I am assuming the key switch is bad! Thanks for the test! also, is there a diagram test for the non dcs ezgo, my friend is having the same trouble with his and I would like to help him with his cart if possible. Thanks for your help!

Glad it's fixed and thanks for letting us know what it was.
The key switch is a common issue for Ezgo's.
