Double Take 80" Long Top on 2004 Yamaha G22 Gas Cart

Greetings,

I am trying to mount a Double Take 80 long top on my 2004 Yamaha G22 gas cart. I have the back worked out with the candy cane struts. The front however is a real issue. I don't see any examples online of how anyone has done this. The OEM front window strut is too short and also not quite wide enough for this "universal" top. Any suggestions on hardware or how to get this thing mounted without having to hire a fabricator? See the pictures.

Thanks!

I've never installed a Double Take top but it looks like you'll need 2 brackets from the top to the front supports. Where did you buy the top? Maybe they can tell you if there's brackets available that will work without having to make your own. Someone else here may jump in with some suggestions for you.

Buy a Yamaha G-19 front roof support , then you may have to install spacers to bolt it up if the roof if is too wide. Bolts will go in Horizontally. Also you will need to buy windshield for a G-19 Yamaha because the G22 is a different width and height.
