I have a 2011 EZ GO RXV Freedom. I want to add a cigarette lighter to the cart for charging cell phones etc. This cart already has a DC to DC voltage converter. I can't find a wiring diagram for it anywhere. Will I need to tie into the wires coming out of the harness or is the green wire connected to the mounting bracket +12V?

Does the cart have 6 6v batts or 4 12v batts? If it has the 6 6v then you can take the 12v off of two of the batts for youre lighter.

We did this for our head light kit and fused it. For cell phone charging the draw would be next to nothing and it would work where the key was on or off.
