Dash Differences Pre and Post 2000 DS

I have a 1997 Club Car DS and would like to install a Doubletake Sentry Dash but it is listed for 2000+ models.

Looking at every parts docs I can find, I see no difference between the pre and post 2000 DS models are far as how a third party dash would mount.

Does anyone know what I'm missing? What would restrict the Sentry Dash from being compatible with a pre 2000 DS?
 
There is no difference I am aware of other than how the roof frame mounts. Does not look like that would interfere with the dash from what I see.
