D&D Motor Speed Sensor

I bought a new D&D regen motor systems in new York. Not by part number but for my 2093 ezgo, txt, pds regen golf cart. I got the motor today. The speed sensor is completely different. It has a black, red, and green pigtail out of the speed sensor. No information on how to wire this sensor to the curtis 1206MX controller. Anyone have any information on this motor speed sensor?
 
Thanh you, that is the correct information. I called d&d this morning, he told me black to black, red to red, what other color was left to green. That was a sales person. That agreed with your reply. Then I got a response from my email that made no sense at all. Here is the content:

cut both ends. splice red to red black to black and the last 2 are grounds. Any questions further, just call.

There are only three wires, the third white to green wire is signal. I hope the product is better than the customer service!!! Putting it in today.
 
the black is ground and red is positive and the green is 0 and 5 volt signal when rolling slowly

I rebuilt them for 4+ years
 
I cut the cable off the old motor and spliced the wires to the old sensor cable. Mine was red to red, black to black, green to white.
It is a three pin molex connector but it takes a special crimping tool to crimp pins on the wires before inserting them into the connector. I have the tools but it was easier to use the old cable.
