curtis controller???

I just replaced a fried 275 amp (stock) curtis controller with a 400amp curtis controller. Is it about the same is a 400 amp aftermarket. Also my other got some water in it is what fried it. Is there a way to waterproof these. Thanks
 
I know your controller was stock, how about the rest of your cart.

What size are your tires, If you are runing a stock cart with 23'' tires maybe 24's with the new controller

I consider the Curtis controller to be the best for stock to modified carts. Now high voltage carts will take a different controller.
 
I put on new 6 g welding cable before I had to replace the controller. I am going to keep an eye on the 6 and if they show any hint of heat I will switch to 4. Brandon
