Converting a EZGO Shuttle to 96 Volts

I was thinking about converting my gas EZGO Shuttle 6 passenger cart into a 96 volts electric. I already converted it to electric using a 48 volt Club Car system and rear end. There's enough room with the stretched frame to fit 12 8 volt batteries.
I would want to ride it at the atv parks. A few questions about this:

1. Would the range and torque be pretty good with this setup? Only need a 20 mph top speed...more is always welcome though.

2. What are my options for a 96 volt motor? Thought about a 6.7" EV motor mounted to a small 5spd car transmission but don't want to do the work right now. Is there a high voltage motor that mounts to the stock Club Car rear end?
Thanks!!

The run time should be pretty good with that battery setup. A controller to handle 96 volts won't be cheap. If you went with 72 volts you could use a Alltrax 650 amp with 12 six volt batteries and have real good run time. The stock motor will perform real good on 72 volts so you may be happy without a motor upgrade...

I would use a EZGO forward and reverse switch with Heavy duty buss bars. As far as motor heat goes it shouldn't be a problem.
