Convert a Club Car V-glide and Controller Upgrade

OK so I have now finished completely rewiring and replacing all of the electrical items on my 1993 Club Car electric golf cart. The only two items left are the stock motor and also the v-glide. What I am wanting to know, is if anybody makes an upgrade for the v-glide or do I have to convert from the v-glide to another type of controller. And if I need to go to a different type of controller, do I also need to get rid of the resistor coils? I did replace the micro switch in my v-glide as it was bad and have cleaned all of the contacts and also installed a new brush arm in the controller as well. In the future I want to put on a lift and also larger tires. Once I do this, I am planning on a motor upgrade. That is why I am asking about the controller. Will it need to be upgraded as well to go along with the motor? Also, what is the opinion on Plum Quick motors? In case the controller is bad at this time and I need to replace it, I do not want to have to buy another controller in the future. I would rather do it once and do it right. I currently used standard 6 gauge cables, but will be replacing them with 4 gauge once i do the new motor. Will this be enough to help the v-glide and resistors? I know I have a lot of questions, but any help to point me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.

OK so go ahead and disregard the question about Plum Quick motors. Now that I opened my eyes and saw the advertisement for D&D motors, I put in a call to them and they answered my questions. So my only question for now is if I should roll stock with no lift or if I can still run a lift on the coils with the cart being electrically stock, motor and controller wise.

Your options on motors are limited with resistor coils. Basically it depends on what you'll be using the cart for. The coils can only take so much and they'll start causing heat related problems. You could always covert it to a electronic controller and a pb6 pot box. When you talk with D&D tell them what you'll be using the cart for and that you want to lift it and they can tell you which motor will work with the resistor coils and v-glide. They may also recommend the controller upgrade.

That is what I figured. They did recommend a PB6 as well but asked if my throttle input would be 0-5000 or 5000-0. Any ideas on how or if someone makes any type of a throttle fix in order to convert to a potbox?

The 0-5k PB6 potentiometer and a EZGO type controller would be the way to go if you were thinking of doing the conversion.
