Controller Swap

I heard you can change a 4 post controller as long as it is a 36V controller with a 3 post that has the A-2 post missing on the controller? Does anyone know if this can be done & how would it have to be wired from the F&R to the controller?

Where your A2 cable comes from the motor to the controller, just bypass the controller and go directly to the F/R switch with that cable.

The controller was on an CLUB CAR DS & it says on the controller 36V - 48V. Would that make a differance cause i hooked it up the way you explained & it will click the solenoid when the F&R is in forward & nothing in reverse. Could it be that the 3 smaller wires are on wrong that come from the pedal control?

Most Club Cars use a 5K-0 ohm throttle (pot box) and the Ezgo uses the 0-5K ohm throttle.
The two are not interchangeable. You will need one with the 0-5K ohm set up.
